Light Yagami is a very smart boy who is in the top of his classes. but on the inside he isn't so Innocent!, he despises the number of crimes and chaos around him. He kinda goes kooky if you know what i mean. Because Light only thinks of good, he becomes evil himself. All he wants is to rid the world of evil and he will do anything to make that happen. Then his luck came around he found a note book called the "Death Note" outside on the ground of his school. Due to what the instructions claimed it said that if a humans name is written in the Death note that person will die. Light is spooked out but to see if it isn't a hoax he experiments with the death note and finds that it is real. Later on Light meets the owner of the Death note a shinigami named Ryuk who hangs around Light every day and loves to eat apples! after meeting with Ryuk Light made the proposition that he wants to be the ruler of the world and make peace by killing all that is evil. But things don't go so easily with Light because he soon finds himself face to face with the best police investigator L. L wants to catch Light or as they call him KIRA and get rid of him. So they secretly battle off , a physiological cat fight, not knowing they go to the same college. but they still suspect each other and new characters like misa, arrive and more. Death Note is a show and a book. there are 12 volumes and 37 episodes and also a movie.

Serial Experiments Lain

The other day I was researching animes and i came across with a series called Serial Experiments Lain, by the cover of the dvd box you might think its just another shojo/lolita story IN THE CONTRARY! the anime is cyberpunk with a touch of thriller. My first reaction was "this is gonna be interesting(sarcasticly)" .. Honestly I recommended if you're into technology/sci-fi ish/ thriller yet realistic type of anime. I liked this anime alot, it had crazy looking images and it talks about conspiracy theories, it just a had a great impact towards me ^.^ and I can honestly say that its not the "best" series but it will leave you with a great impression. BTW- I havent seen the end of this amazing series

In a world were the internet is called the Wired focuses on a girl named Lain. Her mother is cold towards her, Lain's dad is a computer maniac!, so she feels in a way lonely. After a girl, Chisa Yomoda, from her school commits suicide sending all of her friends e-mails Lain receives an e-mail from the girl saying that she is not dead but she has left her flesh behind and she has found a new God in the Wired. Lain compromises herself to a quest that willlead her to find who she really is.

Shugo Chara! しゅごキャラ!,

Amu Hinamori, is a normal student attending seiyo academy. At the first day of school everyone referred to her as a cool and tough girl but in reality she is big DORK and a shy girl who has a hard time showing her true self. Shugo Chara! is a television series and a book series. it makes me feel sad to say that there is 51 episodes and 11 volumes but who knows it may not be over yet. my friend Melissa loves this show so much she calls herself an egg. any ways all that Amu really wants is to be her true and real self not be be what she calls a cool character and so at night she wished that she could be her true self. Then that morning she finds one of the eggs that are called character eggs.

The Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok 魔探偵ロキ

The mythical detective Loki Ragnarok is a book and a television series. The story is about a boy named Loki who is actually a god, the Norse god of mischief, and has been sent to the human world for his punishment for which he knows nothing about. And so Loki is forced to take the form of a human child. and the only way to come back to the realm of the gods is to find and collect the evil auras that lurk the human hearts. So to start off he starts a detective agency that specializes in the paranormal and is assisted by his loyal companion Yamino.

Then soon later they are joined by a human girl named Mayura who is a dork for mysteries and unknowingly assists him with catching auras, although she just thinks they are solving mysteries. as the mysteries and search for evil auras go on they encounter other Norse gods and characters who are friends to Loki and others who try to kill him.

Touhou Project 東方

Blood+

blood plus has 5 volumes and 50 episodes. the genre is adventure supernatural and about a girl saya who has a past she doesn't even know her past. saya is a an anemic and anmesaic, she doesnt know anything of her past. she is living and under the care of her adoptive family.he is a normal school girl but then her life is turned upside down when she is attacked y a creature known as a chiropteran (seen in the picture below). and worst of all she discovers that she is the only one who can defeat this horrid creature. with the katana a weapon of sword she emarks on a ission to rid the world of chiropteran with her family by her side, and to discover her eal identity.

Rurouni Kenshinるろうに剣心 明治剣客浪漫譚

Rurouni kenshin is a chanbara, which means sword fighting(チャンバラ). there is exactly 28 volumes and 95 episodes. the story is in the meigi era of japan. the story is of a peaceful wandering soul himura kenshin or also known as hitokiri battosai an assassin.

S.A. スペシャル·エー

S.A. (special A) is a romantic, comedy book and a T.V. series. there is exactly 24 episodes and 17 books. hikari hanazono was always second compared to kei takishima. it started when they were six years old, their fathers were pro-wrestling fans and also friends. hakari was raised that way and never thought she could lose. when they first were introduced hikari challenged kei and he always defeated her. from there on she enrolled in the same school as him all the way to elite expensive school named hakusenkan. in that school the students are divided into groups a-f kei is number 1 and hikaru is number two in the highest class special A. one thing she doesnt notice is that kei loves her. and so through out the series hikari constantly tries to defeat kei to the number one spot which kei wont let go of.

Ceres妖しのセレス

ayashi no ceres is a fantasy action romance, it is made from the maker of fushigi yuugi. aya mikage and her brother aki mikage attend a celebration at their grandfathers home on their birthday. and instead of a birthday day party they find that they are forced upon a family ritual. the ritual on which they put on them brought out the reincarnation of a powerful celestial maiden named ceres out of aya. when aya transforms back to her old self she doesn't remember anything that has happened while she was ceres as if she had a split personality. according to the legend when ceres is brought back she will kill and get revenge on the mikage family. then she is saved by suzumi another celestial maiden and yuhi suzumi;s brother in law. then aya falls in love with one of the mikage's employees toya. Toya was found by them and doesn't remember the past at all. later aya loses aki to his reincarnation of the mikage ancestor who stole ceres' robes and didn't let her return to heaven. aya later makes a deal to ceres that she will find her celestial robes. during her quest she struggles with all kinds of emotional stress like her family and toya. she also gains enemies like her cousin and the C-nome project, a project where they steal celestial maidens and awaken their power.toya also struggles alot to find his lost memory and soon toya and aya find out something amazingly incredible they will never forget.

Inuyasha犬夜叉

Inuyasha is fantasy action, in another world. kagome is a teenager who goes to school and has a normal life. then one day kogome falls on her family well. there she was mistaken as a witch and almost killed, until an old lady recognized a similarity of her from from her dead sister kikyo. and was she was welcomed to the village. later the old lady named kaede told her that she resembles her sister and kagome still confused is later attacked by a Caterpillar woman who wanted a jewel. as she was attacked a jewel came out of her body from a wound and then she met a half demon inuyasha who wanted the jewel she had. when the jewel breaks in an accident to get it back, inuyasha and kagome work together to get them back. if and evil spirit possesses the jewel or even one of its shards they will again more power of evil. so its kagome's job to stop them, while inuyasha just wants the jewel for himself to turn into a full fledged demon.

Types of anime

Shojo- means young lady in Japanese also known as girl anime, it focuses more on girls like fruits basket.

Shonen- is Japanese for young boy like Dragon Ball Z or Naruto.

Seinen-is Japanese for young man it mostly includes teenage boy.

Kodomo- is Japanese for child. it can be related to shows like Hamtoro.

Fushigi Yuugi ふしぎ遊戯

Fushigi Yuugi is one of my all time favorites it is the second manga i ever read. This is also a show, there is exactly 52 episodes. Miaka is a student studying for the entrance exams for jonan academy and is very stressed. Her best friend yui hongo also applies for the same school too, because miaka and her want to go to the same school. while in the library miaka and yui encounter a strange book known as the The universe of the four gods. As they read the book they get transferred in the universe of the book. after less than 10 minutes yui is transported back to the real world. when miaka is left alone in this world she meets the king who tells her she is the priestess of suzaku,who is destined to gather the seven suzaku warriors in order to summon suzaku and gets three wishes. she laters falls in love with one of the celestial warriors named tamahome. then miaka comes back to the real world to rest. in that time yui comes back for her and gets raped. when miaka comes back she finds out that yui is the priestess of seiryuu the enemy of the suzaku. miaka and yui then become enemies and yui also falls in love with tamahome, though tamahome is not in love with her. and they fight to get their warriors in order to get their wishes.

Ultra maniac ウルトラマニアック

Ultra Maniac is a show and a book there are 5 volumes published and 26 episodes. This story is about a girl named Ayu Tateishi and her transfer student friend named Nina Sakura, who is actually a witch from the magic kingdom. When Ayu finds out of Nina being a witch Nina becomes very close to Ayu and always uses her magic to help. The problem is that her magic always gets the two of them into trouble. For example when Ayu has nothing to wear for a date Nina creates clothes for her from a magazine. later during her date she wets the clothes and they dissolve as if they were made out of paper.

the first time i read Ultra maniac was when i was in my school library. My sister recommended it to me and so i checked out the book. When i read the first one i was very entertained it was like reading a fantasy novel, though it ended shortly. And after i finished reading the books i watched the show which was even better.

Murder Princess.マーダー·プリンセス,

Murder princess is fantasy action show about a princess named Alita who escaped from her castle in order to find her brother Prince Kaito. Her father the king shortly dies after he makes the request for alita to find her brother. after the princess escapes she encounters a bounty hunter named Falis. then after life flashed before their eyes they trade each others bodies. together they fight side to side in order to save the kingdom, the promise falis made to alita. throughout their journey they also encounter enemies like D.r. Akamashi, Yuna, Cecilia and an enemy they never believed would be possible.



The first time i heard about Murder Princess was when my sister played a piano song from the TV show of murder princess. I asked her "what are you listening to" because it was a very beautiful song named Tenshi no itsukushimi she replied "it is a song from a show called murder princess. so from there i started reading the series murder princess. after i finished i was sad that it was over so i then watched the episodes and was also sad to find out that there was only 5 episodes.
