S.A. (special A) is a romantic, comedy book and a T.V. series. there is exactly 24 episodes and 17 books. hikari hanazono was always second compared to kei takishima. it started when they were six years old, their fathers were pro-wrestling fans and also friends. hakari was raised that way and never thought she could lose. when they first were introduced hikari challenged kei and he always defeated her. from there on she enrolled in the same school as him all the way to elite expensive school named hakusenkan. in that school the students are divided into groups a-f kei is number 1 and hikaru is number two in the highest class special A. one thing she doesnt notice is that kei loves her. and so through out the series hikari constantly tries to defeat kei to the number one spot which kei wont let go of.
